As we all know that Salman Khan has convicted for the homicide and sentenced for five years in the jail for driving rashly and killing a sleeping man on the footpath. But the lack of evidences, the appeals were over ruled and he was released for this open crime. On Thursday, the judge of the high court insisted that the assassin of this case should be present there before the verdict read out. Yogita Limaye, the reporter of BBC, reports that the Bollywood actor hurriedly walked out and approached the south Mumbai on the same day.
According to the reports of the news agency AFP, the Justice A R Joshi has stated, “The appeal is allowed and the decision of the trial court is quashed and set aside. Salman Khan is acquitted of all charges,” he added, “The prosecution failed to establish [the charges] beyond reasonable doubt.”
The Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has appeared more than 80 Indian Movies and Song, had just sentenced for hit-and-run case. But today, on 10th December, 2015, the high court has verdict him from all the charges.
Salman tweeted on Twitter as; “I accept the decision of the judiciary with humility. I thank my family, friends & fans for their support & prayers .”

Bollywood stars welcomed the Bollywood veteran star Salman Khan and passed their remarks such as;
Anupam Kher, the co-star has said, “I am happy for him. It’s been 13 years since the case is going on… the family was on tenterhooks. He is a good person… he deserves justice. I do feel bad for the people who lost their lives …got injured. I do feel bad for the tragedy,” veteran actor Anupam Kher told PTI.”
The director of the Bollywood movies, Anees Bazmee who has also worked with Salman Khan in blockbuster movies including ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ready’ and ‘No Entry’, stated, “It (case) has taken a long time… it’s a relief for him and his family. It has taken the court to come to conclusion so they would have taken into consideration a lot of factors. I don’t know much about the law (whether it’s a right or wrong decision). There is no one above the court.”
Another filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar shared his feelings while saying that it is a great relief for the members of Salman’s family and for himself as well. “For 13 years, he was going through this ordeal. So it is a great news for the film industry, directors, producers, and even his fans. I haven’t read the judgement but Bombay High Court definitely saw something and gave the verdict which was absolutely right. It is a big, big relief for Salman,” Madhur has said.
Hema Malini said, “We all feel good about him and this is a great news for all of us. He should now settle down and get married. This is what I wish for him.”
Mukesh Bhatt, the veteran director - producer shared his feeling as, “I am happy for him. Justice has a vague definition in this country. It’s (justice) is a beautiful piece of poetry.”
Besides these celebrities, many others have also tweeted and wished him for his upcoming life.
